Jay Paulson

Since 1999 Jay Paulson's team approach, creative drive, and dedication to detail have made HighPoint Homes the premier choice in custom home building. As general contractor Jay will ensure quality, efficient craftsmanship throughout the building process. Raised on a farm in the Battle Lake, MN area Jay knows the value of hard work and family. He enjoys the outdoors, boating, and sharing all the Lakes area has to offer with his wife and 2 boys. With 25 years of experience Jay is passionate about building quality homes.

Ashley Trousil

Ashley has worked as an interior designer in the Alexandria for over ten years. She brings expertise to help homeowners realized their homes’ potential. Ashley learns how the homeowners function and how they want their home to function. She works with the homeowner, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure the homeowner vision comes to life and the process is as painless as possible. Ashley lives in Alexandria with her husband, two daughters, and beagle. She loves spending time with her family and living in the lakes area. Walking the area trails, boating, and fishing are some of her favorite hobbies. She graduated with an AAS degree in Interior Design from Alexandria Technical and Community College, She is an Associated Kitchen and Bath Designer with the National Kitchen and Bath Association.

Trish Finnegan

Trish has been in the building/lumber industry since moving from Canada to Alexandria in 1990. As Office Manager/Building Assistant she is responsible for all accounting operations and works closely with sub-contractors, clients and financial institutes to ensure all transactions go smoothly. Trish likes to get to know the homeowners and maintains communication with them, vendors and sub-contractors to ensure all parties are updated on project progress and then tracks expenditures to ensure budget compliance. When she is not at Highpoint, Trish enjoys her time with her husband, 3 grown children, and 2 grandsons. She loves to travel and spend quality time with family and friends at the lake fishing and boating.
